Restorative Dentistry in Smyrna, Georgia
Damaged, missing, or broken teeth do not just affect how your smile looks. They affect how you eat, how you speak, and how you feel in your own skin. Restorative dentistry at Dental Arts of Smyrna is about restoring what has been lost dentally. Whether you need a single crown, a full set of implant-supported teeth, or a complete-mouth reconstruction, Dr. Aundrea Eady has the advanced training to see it through.
Dr. Eady completed an Advanced Certificate in Prosthodontics at Tufts University, making her uniquely qualified to handle complex restorations that go beyond what a general dentist typically manages. For patients in Smyrna and across Cobb County, that means access to a level of care that is genuinely rare in a single practice.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Generally, fillings are used for smaller areas of decay, while crowns are recommended when a tooth is extensively damaged, has had a root canal, or is at risk of cracking. Dr. Eady will review your X-rays and photos with you at your appointment and explain which option is most appropriate for your situation.
With proper care, a well-made crown can last 10 to 15 years or more. Avoiding habits like chewing ice or grinding your teeth extends the life of your restoration considerably. Dr. Eady will discuss what to expect based on the specific material and placement of your crown.
Not during treatment. We use local anesthesia and, when needed, nitrous oxide sedation to keep you comfortable throughout any procedure. Full mouth reconstruction is completed in stages over multiple visits, and Dr. Eady and her team will manage your comfort at every step.
Implant denture are removable. They can be a partial denture replacing a few teeth or a complete denture replacing all teeth. All-on-4 specifically refers to a fixed arch restoration supported by four implants — the teeth do not come out. Both options provide much greater stability than traditional dentures. Dr. Eady will help you determine which approach is better suited to your bone structure and goals.
Many restorative procedures, including fillings, crowns, and extractions, are covered at least partially by dental insurance. Cosmetic aspects of care and implant restorations may not be covered. We will review your benefits with you before treatment begins and offer financing through Cherry, Sunbit, or CareCredit for any out-of-pocket portion.
